A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOWAR) | Sarah J. Maas | Book Review
ACOWAR, the third book in the ACOTAR series, is as exciting and amazing as the previous books are – and maybe a tad bit better. But the beginning could have been better, in my opinion. The beginning was quite predictable, even though the entire book remained a page turner.
And again the details! From character developments
to their interpersonal relationships, the fighting sequences to emotional
depths – everything is so beautifully executed. The writing is better and more fluid than both ACOTAR and ACOMAF,
still easy to read but intense, and Rhysand’s perspective is a much needed
break from Feyre’s monotonous 600 page pov.
The best part of the book is the war arc –
which is absolutely brilliant, perfectly tying together everything that started
in ACOTAR. But while it provides a closure in one hand, the war arc
simultaneously opens a new chapter that promises to bring so many new things
into the saga.
Happy Reading!
